Today was my last day as a Fukaya.
And I think it ended well. I finished my packing with Tonpi, and went to karaoke with Ai and her friends. It went well. And, even though I was quiet at first it didn't seem that awkward for everyone. They were all excited to see me. It's been how many months since I've last seen them and I'm glad that my Japanese improved sooo much from the last time I met with them. I got to laugh again when Yuko tried her English, and I was actually able to have more conversation with them. I exchange my keitai address and number with them as well. Before karaoke though we went to do purikura. haha Like we could have skipped out on that. More for me to add^^ We didn't get to stay at karaoke for too long though. What, like an hour at most we were there? That's really not enough time to do karaoke but me and Ai had to be home for 6 'cause we were going out to eat. I'm still grateful for that. I guess maybe Ai thought since I mentioned to her that one night I wanted to go to karaoke with everyone again she set this up for me. Thanks, Ai. At the end of karaoke Yuko gave me a present, it was from everyone. It was a Minnie Mouse picture frame. I'm to put the picture I took of all of us together in it (I took the picture after I got it). It's a reallyyyy cute frame and I'm not a Disney person. This was ending as a great day. Being with them made me happy. And I just found out that Yuko lives in the same area of my new host family. haha Wow, we may be neighbors (highly doubt it though). But tomorrow before I change families I'm going to try to get to BookAce so I can get the photo printed.
We went out to eat and I had tendon. This guy sitting next to me (I knew him from before at a past BBQ) was starting to scare me though the more drunk he got. I hate when I'm around drunk people. It would be different if I was drunk with them or close to it. Especally when you can't always grasp what their saying (not knowing the language). It's annoying and they keep going on when you clearly don't get it. Or even when you do get it it's just soo stupid all you can do is smile to not be rude. When we got home there was a program on TV about the baka (stupid people) in the world. They showed video of people doing stupid things and they were really all videos from America. It was sooo funny. There was this one from Pennslyvania (where I live for all the outside readers) and he was just sooo stupid with his stunts. He tried to do a hand walk on a treadmill, he climbed a rock hill only to jump off it, and he tried to do a grind on a rail without a skateboard, only his feet. In all these attempts he hurt himself prettyyy hard. Baka for sure. So, for that time my family realized Pennslyvanians are pretty stupid haha. But that just added on when the next one came on. The guy was in California, his stupid thing was seeing how many times he could kick himself on the head ad he had a dance opening and stuff, it was crazy/funny. When they talked a little on his past they mentioned that he's originally from PA. haha yep, us Pennslyvanians are pretty stupid. Then I spent my last minutes with Ai in the living room. We didn't really talk, I didn't know what to bring up. But yeah.
I was told that my next family has the internet so it shouldn't be a problem. But just incase it doesn't work or something, don't be surprised if I don't sign on for some time. I'll still be typing blogs but who knows when I'll be able to post them. Hopefully everything will be okay though. Well, wish me luck. Sayonara, Fukaya kazoku. Watashi wa minna ga samishigaru. Iro iro, hontou ni domo arigatou. (08-23-08/01-06-09)
